December in Spain is so different from where I live – even the coldest Spanish cities are tens of degrees warmer than my home state of Minnesota. That means that potted plants can stay out all year round! And not die during winter! I thoroughly enjoyed walking through residential areas, admiring the little plant friends hanging out in front of homes, many times in window ledges.
