SAN FRANCISCO BRIDGES // SEPTEMBER 2021

Karl the Fog was not my friend during my time in San Francisco. Or maybe it was, because it was always around? While the lighting conditions were not what I expected, it was still a treat to see two iconic bridges in one city.

BAY BRIDGE

My opinion – the Bay Bridge is just as grand as the Golden Gate Bridge.

The distant Bay Bridge peeks through heavy foliage.
A sailboat is tiny in comparison to the Bay Bridge.
A flock of birds fly under the Bay Bridge. Karl the Fog looms in the distance.
A tower of the Bay Bridge is just visible over several shoreline buildings.
A majestic tower of the Bay Bridge just catching the last of the day's sunlight.
The Bay Bridge at the end of a main road.
The Bay Bridge framed by palm fronds.
The Bay Bridge reflected in choppy water.

GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE

It was surprisingly difficult to get a good shot of this bridge. It had a lot to do with the weather, but also because I wasn’t familiar with the optimal places to shoot. Next time, Golden Gate!
