So this isn’t really a trip report. And it’s not really a lens review, either. But, right before quarantine, I purchased a new lens for my Fuji X-T3 – the Fujinon XF55-200mm. And this was my first time using it. Yes, embarrassing to admit.
I come from many, many years of using a fixed lens camera – the Fuiji X100 series. I LOVE that camera, and is still my favorite to use. But there were photos that I just couldn’t make with that wide of a lens. So, I decided to try out an interchangeable lens camera. It’s been a journey. A huge part of me does not want to mess with changing lenses, carrying around heavier equipment…looking like a photographer because of bigger lenses. But using this new lens was really fun.
Are these photos portfolio worthy? Most definitely not. I’m writing this post 100% for me (well, I’m pretty much posting 100% for me anyway because let’s be honest, only a handful of people besides me will read this). This post is proof to my future self that I didn’t waste all of my quarantine time on Animal Crossing, lol!
oh hi, just me obsessing over this St Paul government building
And now moving on to the University of Minnesota West Bank.
